"i want to stay 18 forever"

Apr 06, 2004 21:35

so they say there's this whole idea of the musical family, closing night was 2 saturdays ago... and honestly, that night, i didn't feel like a family, i didn't feel like i could lean on alot of those people that night. some of my close friends in it i couldnt... others did more than expected. maybe it was just my personal events this year; maybe next year will be different. but closing night, all i felt is regret, unloved, alot of resentment toward me, and left out of the unity for a majority. but now its okay, musical relationships have faded; with those who i wasn't ooberly close with- its a small smile of recongnition, if even that.

:sigh: and the past few days.. all i hear about from livejournals and what not; is the closeness that the Groves drama kids feel. they're a community. i was reading the program from commedia, and they left messages saying how good of a time they had, how close, and how much they had grown up together. we don't have that. i know all of TWO people who do the play, forensics, and the musical(christina & erica); we don't have a drama class. our theater productions aren't run by the same people. and i regret that. i sometimes regret not going to groves, not having that stable of a theater program. i know its not as shiny and perfect as it seems... but i'm sure its better.

to the groves "drama clique": you're lucky you get to grow up with a defined group of kids. not just bits and pieces of people.

granted i have made great friends in forensics and musical... quite a few i made before.. we just were lucky enough to have similar interests.

so there's this new guy. a forensics guy.. a lot already know about this. he's got a great passion for music, and gives great hugs (not that just tap you on the back spiehl). we will see.
