Here we go...
This month has been so crazy busy. I am always amazed at how much stuff gets crammed into Spring.
Today, I have to play for a trombone recital; this is not so bad since I played for church last night, so I don't have to do anything else today but practice and possibly clean some more.
Monday, I have a flute lesson at 9:00 in the morning, and my last rehearsal will end at 10:30ish at night with various rehearsals in between (2 of which are choir rehearsals, 1 of which I am running).
Tuesday night, on top of everything else, is Mr. Luvisi's recital, which I will be attending.
Wednesday night is a rare early night...for now.
Thursday night, I am playing for a trombone recital.
Friday night, I am paying for a flute recital.
Saturday, I hope I have the rare day "off" to practice, but we'll see what happens.
Sunday, I am playing for a faculty voice recital. I still don't have one of the pieces.
In other news, we got a new keyboard for my computer, and it is currently sitting on top of my desk plugged into the front of my computer. The old keyboard is still on the keyboard tray and is still plugged into the back of my computer. This allows me to do such crazy things as type with one hand on either keyboard. Such crazy things make me chuckle. I think they also drive Colin a little crazy. But that makes me chuckle a little, too.
Also, I finally found Colin's limit to how messy he will let the house get; he begged me to help him clean yesterday. So now our house looks and feels so much better, and we can get back to cleaning regularly without feeling like we have to tackle a gargantuan task. :)
After this week of craziness, things should slow down remarkably since I have 3 different Spring Breaks that don't line up...UofL is one week, IUS is the next, and St. Francis is the next week. Even though this really makes it hard to take a vacation, it does mean that things get easier for the month.
Somehow amid the craziness of this past week, I found time to fill out, address, and mail invites for a baby shower that was turned over to me last minute. Now, I just have to turn in my form for and pay for the conference that I want to go to over the 3rd Spring Break.
