Here I am, 6 years after starting this journal.
Here's the highlights of the past 3 years:
I loved college. I was active and made good grades. I graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Business. I also graduated on time. Despite TOPS, I still have a few thousand in student loans. Fail.
In 2007, Chavo and I parted ways. Shortly after, I was re-united with Beau Patin, who I had known a loooooong time. We quickly became each other's world. and 7 months later we eloped in Florida. Around the same time, we bought a trailer and some land near Church Point and settled down.
We wanted more, so I adopted Lolly, a 2 year old cocker spaniel. That same week, a male cocker spaniel named Harley was donated to us. So we had a happy little family. Lolly soon got pregnant, and had 11 puppies, 3 of which we kept. 2 of those found other homes, and now we have a family of three dogs. The youngest is name Rooster Rooney Roux.
Before the puppies were born, Beau and I decided to be fruitful and multiply and I found out I was expecting in March of 2008.
Beau Nathanial Patin Jr. was born a week and half late on November 26, 2008. He is my world and an absolute joy to have in our lives.
Events in our lives have called Beau and I to be closer to God and he and I are both on a new Spiritual journey to be the people God has called us to be.
In May, I was approached to attend a Mary Kay party. In my desperation to get out of the house, I went, expected to buy some eyeliner and be on my way. Well, the opportunity that this business offers to women caught me by surprised and I am now a Senior Beauty Consultant. I do this to make extra money but also to enrich my life by getting out of the house and showing women how they can feel great about how their faces look and feel. I love it.
I couldn't be happier with my marriage, my family, and my life in general.
So that's it in general.
