Job Scare
So, I almost got fired today. Ouch! Yeah, I missed worked yesterday because my 1 year old nephew unplugged my alarm clock AGAIN. It didn't help that I didn't get to bed until about 2 AM either (my brother had his drinking buddies over again, very loud). So, I didn't wake up until about 1 PM. I guess I'm lucky they were sympathetic to my "condition" ( I had surgery earlier this summer, tonsils out, which required me to miss two weeks of work). So "No more misses or [I'm] gone." It makes sense. It's a crappy factory job, but I was still hired as summer help. I'm there so that the regulars can take off work, not me. Oh well, I only have two more weeks there anyway. So, not a big deal.
In other news, I've finally decided on my course load for this fall semester. It is as follows:
Basic Spanish (refreshing so that I don't miss anything)
Intermediate Japanese
Programming & Problem Solving (CS)
Linguistics
Fall Backpacking Trip
Concert Choir
Applied Guitar (may drop due to fussy parents)
Obviously, I'm back on the CLL plan. After every side track, I always come back to CLL. So, I'm just going to stick with it. I might minor in music or TESOL or something too.
