Belated weekend update
So, I'm going to cruise through this since it's been a few days and other issues have come up that has made me forgotten how nice last weekend was.
Friday was a me night. Yay for me.
Saturday, RJ and I went to see Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters at the Pabst Theater. It was hawesome! Adam and Jamie are exactly as they are on TV and I was laughing so hard that I had several coughing fits of being unable to breathe. I didn't bring my camera, which I've been kicking my butt over ever since! Thankfully, Kathy was ushering then and she brought her camera, so hopefully I can snag some pictures from her. The following pics were captured with my cellycam.
Afterward, we were supposed to celebrate Ghost Butz's new job at the Lobster, but Ghost Butz postponed it due to Kyle's graduation. RJ and I went to the Alehouse to eat and I had the best veggie lasagna ever! I've never had veggie lasagna with marinara sauce and it was super tasty. We went to Vucciria for gelato afterwards. Super yummy!
Sunday, I met up with Susan. We had lunch and then rented Fun with Dick and Jane. That was a disturbing movie. It was marketed as a comedy, but it was more of a commentary on corrupt corporate entities. In the closing credits, the very first thing was a "Special Thanks" to individuals from Enron and WorldCom amongst others and thanked a few companies such as Arthur Anderson.
After that, I met up with RJ to move his twin bed over to Christie's. We had to borrow the soccer-dad-mobile from Bud to move it, then we had dinner at Christie's.
It was just a nice weekend. :)
