Long tall weekend.
Having four days off was indeed appreciated by me.
I didn't get to sleep in on Friday since I had to bring Lucretia to the vet between 7:30 and 8:30. Was debating whether I should go back to sleep or not, and I decided to clean instead. It was nice to have my chore day back! I cleaned all the rooms except my bedroom, and I also cleaned Lucretia's new carrier (Susan and I traded since I wanted a smaller one and she needed a bigger one). Plus I also did dishes and some laundry. And picked up Lucretia some time in the midst of all of this.
Susan came by after she was done with work to pick up my paint supplies, the pet carrier, and some empty boxes. Shortly after her departure, MF Lisa came by to hang out. We went out to dinner and then came back to my place to watch some Buffy.
Saturday was a slacker day. I woke up early, decided to go back to sleep. Woke up again and bummed around the house. Wanted to take a nap around 5:00 and decided to make myself stay awake. Went over to RJ's around 8:00 with some food, and ended up taking a nap around 9:00 anyway. RJ was bummed because someone took his license plate. As in, someone ripped it off his car and stole it.
We went to the Summerfest grounds to see the Violent Femmes for a free show. It was fun, glad I went because I needed to erase the memories of the last two times I had seen them which was awful because of the surrounding people in attendance. Plus, it was FREE!
Sunday was also a lazy day. It was HOT, too hot for the cats to get in a tussle. Christie came over and we bummed around, catching up with life and TV.
Yesterday was nice. BBQ at MJ's. Got to chat with Michelle on the way home. Interesting developments in her life. I hope she doesn't kick herself later on about it.
