Yesterday we had a beautiful and blessed day off, which meant that I stayed in bed till the decadent hour of 9am - well, it felt decadent for me, anyway. I had to go to some teaching fair thing at lunchtime, where I signed up with lots of councils and got given lots of bits of paper and information packs and pens and such. I'm very enchanted by having a laptop with a functioning battery, so I can just sit with it on my knee and not have to worry about the cord. Well, sort of. The rest of my exams last week went well, which is always good. For Christmas, I got a £10 HMV giftcard thing from one of my uncles. Today, I saw fit to take myself off to HMV to spend it. And I bought the Doves album, which is very cool and chilled, and I also bought The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert on DVD, which I have just watched.
