I have the worst (and best?) car luck ever...
Okay, so I'm at work right now. Thankfully the queue is low so I have a few minutes between calls and have a chance to write.
Well... I mentioned that my car died a few nights ago and we found out that it might be either the battery or the alternator. So today, I got someone to jumpstart my car and it worked for a bit. I took the car to get the battery checked and I was told that I had a good battery, so that means that it has to be the alternator. Anywho... I drove my car for something like twenty minutes and it DIES just as I drive into the parking lot here at work. Some of my co-workers (an L2, a Team leader, and the Floor Manager) and they all hepled me push my car into a spot and one of them volunteered to give me a ride home tonight. When he found out that I leave after he does, he even FOUND someone to give me a ride instead and the FM is even letting me out half an hour earlier so that I can be off at the same time that my ride is off.
So, to tally it up, it sucks that my car is dead, but I did manage to make it to work on time (with food), had help when it died, got a ride, and am going home 30 mins early.
In conclusion, I have the WORST luck with cars, but I have awesome luck with everything else. Go figure.
