despite the fact that the women are dressed like sluts and the sausagefest men act like assholes, beale street is pretty rad with all of the lights, music, food and booze. memphis is cooler than i thought.

i nixed the trip to tampa, and i'm bummed. i could not in good conscience go, with so much work and an ailing kitty and, truthfully, my lack of interest in spending any more money right now. as much fun as i am sure i would have, and as much as i miss wade, eric and raul, i feel much better knowing that the trip is not happening ( Read more... )
