Today has been eventful.
Firstly, I had a job interview with Greenpeace. I reaaaally hope they liked me. I tried really hard, and I was half an hour early hehe. It was awesome though, cause most jobs want you to take out all your jewellery and wear smart clothing, shave off facial hair...etc, yet at Greenpeace, the guy interviewing me had a ponytail, a beard & a tribal earring (and his name was Chris :P), he was just wearing plain, casual clothes, and I noticed he has a tongue piercing when he talked. They are SO my kinda people!! The interview took place on sofas instead of chairs, and these people were so passionate about the environment, and so friendly and informal, it was awesome. I had to do some role-plays etc, and i THIIIINK I did well, but part of me knows that as much as I tried, I'm not as outgoing as a lot of applicants would've been, so i'm not gonna get my hopes up.
I got a call from EAT. too, inviting me to an interview tomorrow.

I then came home and decided to make a DIY softbox :D I want one so I can do better photography, but the prices of photography lighting are insaaaaane. So, I made one, in about 2 hours, that works reaally well, and cost less than £5. I'm proud of myself :P

Then I got my gifts; I got some awesome things, like alexisonfire albums and gift-wrapped perfume from Harrods (with Robin's 30% discount of course!) a vegan t-shirt :D

Chris starts work tomorrow, and because he's working with food & being in a formal environment, they insisted he shave off his facial hair. He's just done it, and he's still just as cute and pretty as before, but he's now all sad :(

I just wanna show off my cool softbox 'cause i'm really proud hehe:

some pictures while I was building it...

and then, how well it works =D ...using Chris as my model :P

okay, this is a photo taken with flash (he looks all washed out, and he looks pasted on to the background cause only he is lit up, while the background is dark)

this is taken without flash or lighting (it's clearly too dark!);

and THIS, is with my softbox (the light's all even and everything's lit-up, without being overexposed)

now, go give me some praise :P

xx
