(no subject)
It was christmas yesterday...I know what you're all thinking; 'WAS IT?! OMG, NOONE TOLD ME!!!' haha :P
I had an awesome day - Chris was round all day because he's now just counted as a member of the family :)
I put loads of effort into food, I made a roast of vegan 'turkey' with a cranberry stuffing, and I made those little sausages with fake bacon, stuffing balls, cranberry sauce, veg gravy and shared the roast potatoes, carrots & brussels that everyone else had :P Then had homemade vegan mince pies, with homemade brandy (soya) cream :D I snacked all day on marzipan dates, like Margaret makes :)
I got some awesome stuff too. My mum got me a graphics tablet, which i've been wanting for a veeerry long time, so I was really happy about that :D And I got some lens filters for my camera, the new KOL album and a whole load of vegan stuff; cookbooks, toiletries, chocolates..etc
I practiced with my new filters and tablet today, and they've helped improve my photography SOOOOOOOOOOOO much. The colours are right now, and I can edit them properly. I took this, and it may seem a bit boring, but I'm really proud of it:

I also decided reccently that I want to geta sleeve. I think they look AMAZING (when done well of course!) I would then very much be a tattooed person, as opposed to just someone that has a couple of tattoos, like I do now...if that makes any sense. I don't know what I want on it yet, and it will cost hundreds, and take loads of sessions to get it done, so I probably wont even start it for a loooong time, probably years! It has to be PERFECT, something that I know I will want, not just on me, but as WHO I AM, for life! I may just add to it bit by bit over my life. Like, next time I think of something I want as a tattoo, i'll get it at the top of my arm, then work my way down over the years hehe.
Here's some of my favourite sleeves I've ever seen to give you an idea of the kinda thing I want, although I don't want mine to be too busy or dark.
Rigel Suicide - the artwork on this is just stunning. It's hard to believe that's someone's arm, and not just a painting!
I don't know who this is, and it's not finished, but I like the shapes, it's so well done.
this one's too dark for me, but the artwork is just SO amazing that it had to be mentioned :P
this is the AMAZING Alissa Brunelli, who's the best photographer in the world. I want her sleeve because the colours are awesome...but I want her camera even more!!
