We seem to be the proud owners of an exceptionally gifted OCD family of spiders who are hellbent and determined to cobweb up every single surface on the front of our house. I stopped at Holod's on the way home. They have a much nicer selection of flowers than Lowe's amazingly enough. I got 4 more window boxes for the big window in front of the house. I think I still want to get a couple more hanging baskets for out front. I am starting to warm up to semi-yard work. I like flowers. They make me happy.

and I mean YIKES with a capital Y-I-K-E-S. Tim just found something very disturbing on our front lawn.... some lovely phamplets from the *NATIONAL SOCIALIST MOVEMENT* and may I repeat YIKES. I finally had to breakdown and clean the kitchen and put everything away this weekend thinking that we weren't going to be getting the new counters until the end of the month, which of course turns out to be that they are supposed to be installing on this Thursday. I think I need to find someone to clean my house again. I just don't have the time or will for it. I keep letting it go in hopes of getting around to it. I dunno. Anyone have any recommendations for cleaning services or the likes???

The house next door to us on the outskirts of the Sumac cul de sac is going to be up for sale soon.

So we finally got around to hanging up the curtains in the living room. They look pretty nice. I'm still debating on whether or not I want to put sheers underneath them.

I just love it when the Schulkil is so borked that it fucks up other traffic routes. I pretty much crawled down Kelly Drive today because a large portion of the 76 traffic got off at Kelly Drive and proceeded to jam it up the whole way into Center City ( Read more... )

The new job is going well. I'm settling in nicely. Still debating on the benefits of commuting by train versus commuting by car. Its costs pretty much the same either way, so its just a matter of time, convenience, and something else.
