Finally....she updates...

I was at a museum with my dad and his wife. We're walking through the rooms that seem to never end. The first one had pictures of a woman, from the oh...1500's ish...posing next to a piano. The piano was in the room too...I rememebr there was some sort of signifigance with the piano, though I couldn't tell you what it was now.

The rest of the rooms had American Indian artifacts...grass bowls and stuff. And one room full of instruments...like musical...that the indians would have played.

I walked to a back room with my dad...it was really really dark and there was an odd circle on the floor with candles around it...it gave me the heebie jeebies so I got out of there fast...but then I couldn't see when I got back to the other rooms. Like I'd just come into a dark theater from being outside in the sun...my eyes had to adjust.

Then my dad tells me to go up this rickety stair case and look at the "L". I walked up to the trying to figure out what he ment and he starts to shake the old stair case...that's when I notice the top landing is made of brand new wood and braced like an L againts the wall. He reaches up, pounds on it and says "See? The 'L', Jen, I made it." I rush down the stairs because I'm afraid I'm going to fall. He proceeds to show me how weak the old wood is of the staircase by unfastening a strap that was holding it together and bending the wood down.

That's when I rejoin his wife looking at a different room of displays. These are behind glass and there's what looks like a mummified corpse of either a human or a saber tooth tiger...it was hard to tell because it had been skinned and it was posed in an awkward position, twisting back to look at the glass over it's shoulder. It gave me the willies, and I was about to ask if we could leave when my alarm went off and woke me up.

So yeah...there's that...

Went to Fresno Saturday for my niece's 6th birthday party. She had a luau, and her mom set up a table full of fake flowers so everyone could make their own lei's. It was so cute, watching all the girls make their necklaces and bracelets. Then there was a pinata...which looked eerily like my niece...everyone thought that was kind of funny. The hubby was very glad to get to see his family. I know it's hard for him to be living so far away.

While down there we went to the Harley shop and got me a t-shirt and a hoodie. Normally, I only get one shirt from each dealership, but the hoodie was on sale for an awesome price (for Harley clothes that is) so I couldn't pass it up. I should start posting pics of my Harley shirt collections...I only have five so far, but I plan on getting more.

Other than that, not much going on...had to work yesterday so I was really tired what with driving back from Fresno Sat night. Feeling better today though.

...yeah...just rambling now so I'm going to stop.
