Only in Lyndonville!

Only in Lyndonville...

So my week has been lovely.  I did indeed go to the Creating Keepsakes Convention last weekend...only for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon, but it was good.

The week has been fairly uneventful, but nice.  Basically just choir, organizing my choir room some more, voice lesson, subbing, and hanging out w/my brother (Tony) who took the week off from work & school and came home.

So now to the only in Lyndonville part:

Yesterday afternoon my brother's friends start showing up at my house w/lawn mowers in the back of their trucks.  Throughout the the afternoon/evening more and more mowers show up, along with a moped, go-cart, golf carts, and mini bike.  After dropping their "vehicles" off, these boys all proceed to put a movie on (around 11pm) and stay the night at my house.

The Senior Breakfast, awards assembly, and Class Day were all today, and prom tonight, so someone had the great idea that they should ride lawn mowers and other said vehicles to school, and Robb's house would be the perfect place to meet because then they could get to drive them all the mile to school, right down Main St.

This morning I awoke to the lovely sound of boys getting ready for school.  I quick got up and dressed, grabbed the camera and went outside to snap pics.  As they were leaving, Tony (who came home for the week, yay!) and I hopped in my car and followed them to school, snapping pics all along the way.

This was a sight you would only ever see in Lyndonville.

Lovely, yes? :-p

Other news...I started posting some of my scrapbook pgs. on the Creating Keepsakes image board.  Only one of them is new so far...the rest are actually all a couple of years old.  Here's the link to the board if you'd like to see them though:

I'm going to try to post some actual pics of the pages I've done recently soon.  I'll post when I do.

Happy Friday, happy weekend...I'm off to eat Mediterranean food tonight after sending the lovelies off to prom, then leading worship w/Emily Smithers down @ Camp Vick tomorrow.  Yay!
