I can't believe I'm saying this so early in the summer, but I knew it would happen. I'm bored! :P
This morning, I got up at 6am with James and we just stayed in bed for awhile holding hands and talking. I finally got up and packed his lunch, and he was off to work on his bike.
I did the usual eat breakfast, check all online things, watch the news, and then I showered and got dressed. Sarah and I were going to ahve another Food & Facials day but it didn't work out again. We're not doing something right, so we cancelled again. I had to walk across the street to tell my neighbor that we weren't doing it today. I would've invited her over to do it at my house, but my head was pounding.
I swept the floors and vacuumed, and then I went out. I got 2 new books from the library that I traded. I started reading Rose Kelly, and I should finish it tomorrow. I also went to the Fitness Center to drop off my entrance form for the Midwest Challenge. It's a log to run, walk, bike, and/or swim the mileage it would take to get to different places in the midwest. I have to do Springfield first (rules), but the next one I'm doing is Lansing, MI. :)
This afternoon, I did a whole lot of nothing. I thought about taking a nap, but it felt pointless so I stayed awake. I decided to make a loaf of banana bread, and it was perfect timing. It was ready to be cut when James got home from work.
We ate a piece, and then we sat down to read aloud from Rich Dad, Poor Dad together. It's a book about how the majority of the US views money and how to get it, and how the rich people view it and get richer. It's interesting so far, and it's amazing how much has been ingrained into my brain because of how I was raised.
For dinner, we had stirfry with veggies and tofu. It was really yummy. We let our food settle for about 30 minutes and then we went for a bike ride. James was really nice, and he let me set the pace. We rode at about 15mph the whole time and traded leaders. It was a beautiful evening - cool and calm. That'll probably be the last ride like that until the end of September.
I have a feeling that I'm going to bed early tonight.
