Jen, the Daily Double is Clutch.

Wednesday started, as Wednesday always does, with a fire alarm.
I accidentally slept until 9:30 after being alarmed of the lack of fire in the building.  i was supposed to meet my group in our seminar room at 9:45 to go over our presentation before class.
I actually made it there on time.  Disheveled, barely awake, but on time none the less.
The presentation actually went just fine, thanks for asking, and now we don't have to worry about that for the rest of the term, which is nice.
We talked about the funding for theaters here in England, and I found out that nearly everything is a government program.  The Brits were surprised to find out that things are so privately funded in America.  The system here and the system there are entirely different, which I thought was kind of interesting to learn about.
After class, Jae and I met up and gathered homework supplies and headed on in to town.  We walked, in an effort to save money and be a little more healthy.  We sat in Starbucks all day and did homework.  A Lot of homework, actually, on my part, because i had no internet.  So that's going to happen again.  And maybe the guy at the counter will stop thinking we're from Canada.
We went to the fabric store after getting work done, and I picked up some fabric for my (incredibly simple) Lydia costume for Halloween.  I'm excited.
We came back to campus and went our separate ways.  I played a little WoW and then went to bed.
I got up this morning with enough time before my Chaucer class to make some cappuccino and enjoy it.  Class was actually enjoyable.  I didn't feel like I was drowning, but it was still a bit of a challenge.
AND
In the middle of class, at the one hour mark, the professor goes "alright, time for tea and coffee" and I thought he meant break time.
BUT NO. He pulls out a thermos of hot water, a box of tea bags, instant coffee, sugar and biscuits. and little plastic tea cups.  And made us all tea and coffee and handed out buiscuits.  This is apparently a routine he goes through every class.  I am so upset that I missed the first two seminars.  I just loved it, it was adorable.  And the fact that it's routine- that made it infinitely better.
For the rest of the day, I tried to read for my theater class and played some more WoW.  I know.  it needs to stop.  I'm only going to play for this month...
I went to Pagan club with Jae because it was open divination week, and I got my cards read.  They did not make any sense, and were not very accurate.  Jae's cards, however, were incredibly accurate- right down to "you spend too much time on the internet."
It was actually hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing.
Then I realized I hadn't eaten at all all day, so I got some food and Jae and I went back to my room.  We tried to watch Doctor Who, but failed miserably.  And that was my day.  Now I'm listening to the Meet the Robinson's soundtrack and getting ready for bed.
I suppose you shall hear from me again soon.

canterbury, wow, school
