Ok - major apologies for the length of time it took me to get this up- I don't know what I was thinking last week but I got this all posted to
spn_gen_podfics and thought eh, I'll do the permanent links on my journal in the next day or so- totally forgetting that we were coming up to a holiday weekend that I hadn't even planned for.
Anyway may I present “When in Arbuckle” by
debbiel66 with permanent links. LOL.. Finally.
I love this story...
You know that feeling when you read something that is really good but you don’t realise how much something in it resonated with you until three hours later when you can’t quit thinking about it. You’re not even sure what it is that holds you, but it does. This story is like that.
It’s that feeling I had after Stephen King’s, Stand By Me or Shawshank Redemption(the movie versions). The one you get when looking back through photographs where everyone is frozen in time smiling and making bunny ears over their dad’s head. Like you got a glimpse of those last days somewhere on the edge of adulthood and childhood innocence before the real world crashes down on them. A strange combination of happiness for that sweeter innocent time and melancholy that it’s passed, that everything has changed and you can never go back.
Beautiful story. A must read.

Ok after Debbie's mentioning that I had the title wrong, I got to thinking- Geesh did I record it wrong too? Which I checked and Of Course I did. And every single time Arbuckle was mentioned it was wrong.... I'm shaking my head at my stupidity... And girl I know you said it was OK but I couldn't in good conscious leave it that way and I'm thinking you probably didn't mean it was 'OK' wrong throughout the whole story. LOLOL
Anyway I went through and made the changes and I have to really say how wonderful
cybel was because she went and changed all the files in the archive for me as well. So everything is fixed and my little perfectionist soul is happy again.
I am so sorry about that Debbie. I am just flabbergasted at how I missed that on every single edit that I did.
