2289: EXODUS
Black-Hayate shat itself when I was checking out this morning :p so I was even more drawn to picking up the Memorex. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like waiting around for someone to unlock it [even clearance lock-up is locked up], nor did I want to bother people off the clock before the store opened, so perhaps later.
I've been doing a Charles and have spent the last week or so pulling Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes from the random one or two seeds that pop on for only five minutes a day. Unlike Charles, I am NOT getting the entire run of 224 shitty card games but selectively getting only the couple of episodes with Gradius references :p and it's still taking over a week.
I also got a Torrent of Utada Hikaru Fluximations, which are apparently little cellphone movies [~:45] reminiscent of Liquid Television [ah, the days...] --hence, the new icon. They're really gorgeous, but TOO SHORT WHERE IS THE REST OF THE STORY I KNOW THERE IS MORES @.@
Ya know, back in the day of a 15-pic limit even with paid accounts, I struggled to keep under the limit even while adding more keywords... that is, keeping all my keywords relevant to the images while reassigning old keywords to new, more flexible icons. I have 120 now--I have NO idea how I would manage now with the constraints of then o_O particularly when some are now unable to be modified because there are permanent links to some of the images that would break if I tried to fix an image [it would reupload as a new link entirely].
I could change the links, but that would mean 1. finding all the links that need changing and 2. contacting others to do the same where I can't change the link myself. [This is another reason hotlinking sucks.]
Hmm. I accidentally killed both of my VGCats Shadow icons. Eh, whatever. Don't feel like fixing that.
Also, tired kills every motivation I have to do something I planned X( Shit.
I wonder how much of my life I've lost to making animated icons... meh.
