You might be a DDR freak if...
...you categorize your songs by BPM.
I'd do that, but since I have zero worthwhile musical capabilities, I need a metronome to properly gauge the ones that aren't in DDR... and we're out of stock :p but I really can't listen to anything slower than about 120 BPM at work or I'll fall asleep >_< ...which happens, with a lot of the shit they try to inflict upon me, and all the Trance/Ambient shit I thought I liked but can't stand while at work.
After I said 30% the other day, the 2GB Memorex suddenly dropped to 50% =o which would still be another $5 off and another $4.50 off if I bought it today, with Team Member discount plus Target Visa discount I have the rest of the day to use after stupidly blowing it on the meals I bought at the very last minute before work only to get home to Chars saying he still had one at the office 9_9
...and I'm still tempted, because Black-Hayate is spontaneously having problems being recognized by my computer, so I can no longer add any new songs to it =( It should be easy to fix if I bother to do it... I'm just female and easily lured by a good deal, regardless of what is en route from Herat. Plus, I'm too aware that something I got for free is that much more likely to bust.
GAH
FOX MYSPACE _ToT_ ...but I guess that *sort of* solves the issue of having chosen Heroes over GodJack Bauer :p
CRAPFULLY SO
Erm. Anyway, the point I originally was getting at here was how distracted I get when I try to get myself to finish what I've started :/ I had this last-minute resolution to finish SoI before the [Chinese] New Year, but given how it's crept into the 23rd as of this writing, I'm not sure if I can piece the last bits together in time, particularly when all my interest vanishes out the window when I get home from a too-long day at work. It sure would be friggin' sweet if they gave me an extra day off every few weeks, but even with cut hours, I still get my permanent schedule -_-
...so I blow money on stupid shit :p or think about it, certainly.
I mean, certainly I can finish the book by the next Nano, but it loses its relevance as being Year of the Dog book once Year of the Boar hits X/ ...unless I wait for the next Dog, which could potentially solve my in-book calendar problems :o
Pfff.
I need to pick a project and stick with it to completion, though. It pisses me off having so many, and so much more interest in unproductive pursuits instead [seep/NeoJank/Death Note].
