This is most definitely a summer morning. Close all the blinds and windows against the heat of the sun, fan some of the cool air from my room's side of the building into the rest of the house, sit in the front room in my underwear and PJ top under the ceiling fan, eat breakfast and drink coffee and contemplate watching Torchwood ( Read more... )

Excellent day at the river beach. There was lunch and splashing and playing in the (little) rapids, and floating on my back and horseplay and pretty rocks. AND BALD EAGLES. Dreamed that all the bridges in Portland had collapsed (except one, which wasn't in fact a real bridge), so people were resorting to speedboat for transportation.
