Allowing myself to pig out on the leftovers from two separate dinners over the weekend, because I'm going to the gym later on. Om nom doggie bag.

The Cajun pasta with blackened chicken came from dinner with Todd after we helped him clear out his Portland storage unit. We're buying his couch and chair, and some other odds and ends that wouldn't fit in his truck, most of which I'm gonna try and get Mum to *sell*, because let's face it, we need money, and there's some nicely sell-able stuff in there that could mean food for me all term, or textbooks. She's too sentimental for her own good, especially when it comes to Todd. ::shakes head:: But we don't have room for most of the stuff she'd probably want to keep, so maybe it'll be easier to convince her. Honestly, I'm not even sure where she plans to put the couch and chair, but ::shrug::, that's her problem.

The taco salad which I am currently re-enjoying (as in, enjoying the leftovers of, not vomiting up) came from the game session last night. Last one for a while, since Robert's going, er, on holiday for a month or so pretty soon here, and then I'll be at Pacific and Jesse's still in California. Then by the time they all get back it's time for the Portlanders to start school again. So the weekly heyday of this particular campaign is probably at a close. But that's ok. That's what summers are for.

24 days, and it's starting to feel real.

Today, I'm off to ship my calculator, which I sold on Amazon for a cool $50. Not bad at all, really. Also sending off my medical insurance waiver form and my student contract to Pacific. Whee fun. Hurrah hurrah. Then going to the gym and all will be well.

family, money, summer, a day in the life, friends, school
