Sibol at 14 weeks
Baby Sibol: 14 weeks old (or 3.5 months)
Last weekend we went to Richmond, BC, and on the way there he reached out and grabbed a toy for the first time: his tiny Mario doll. He can now more or less consistently grab something either when prompted, or whenever he wants. The other day I had him swaddled in his Pack n Play. I turned around for a few seconds, and when I looked back at him, his arms were out of his swaddle and he had grabbed the cable from the monitor camera and was bringing the monitor to his face.
Baby Sibol is growing and developing in different ways! He talks to us all the time, and he is learning how to take a bottle. He can hold his head up pretty well when he is wide awake, and Mitch has been playing "airplane" with him lately. During play time, we often read to him, let him look at the tiger and giraffe from the bouncy chair, and do tummy time on his play mat. We recently got him a Baby Einstein "jungle gym" toy so he has been "playing" with the piano. I think he is starting to understand that touching the keys makes music happen.
