Wahooo.  The tentacles went down very smoothly, I'm glad to report.  So, here are two pictures. The first is with half the tentacles glued down and nothing else is attached. The second has everything attached, plus eyes.  I think I need to do more sewing on this, but I'm still deciding.  I just feel relieved and excited about those little tentacles ( Read more... )

Yesterday I sewed the binding onto the front of this quilt.  It's fairly small (less than 24 inches across, I think).  I made it in a class from a kit to learn a skill and um, it's not my taste or style.

I'm working on a story, but have hit a roadblock.  Not sure how it's going to be fixed.  I have one idea in mind.  Might have to rewatch Eye of the Phoenix to get a better idea though.  Drat;)

All the trim in the girls' room now has two coats of paint.  My arm is going to fall off.

I am missing a picture because it's at home and I'm not, but I've got all these pieces cut out. Note that the tongue is cut out here, but it's attached to the head still and it will be red in the end. Also, the folds won't be in the final product. But you all knew that, right? I'm excited.
