Pizza recipe

millionstar asked for my pizza recipe.  Here it is.  We get eight small pizzas with this dough.  Not sure how much sauce this is, because I quadrupled it so we could have some to freeze:)

Perfect; thanks muchly. I am wondering if the fact that I'm no longer using a pizza stone (haven't for a few years now) is affecting my outcome? The recipe I use for crust is eerily similar to yours!

Could be. What happened to your stone?

Where did you get your crust recipe? You use oats in it? 0.o. We got ours from Peter Reinhart's book Whole Grain Breads. Oooh, you might be near where some pizza shop he was involved in opened up. I know he lives in NC.

My mother, in her infinite wisdom, decided it would be put to better use in her flower garden - it's a long and stupid story, seriously. I just never bothered to replace it.

Believe it or not I got it from a gorgeous Italian I dated when I lived up north. He didn't have a very good grasp on the English language but man, he was beautiful and he could cook. Lol.

LOL. I can understand that.

Oooooh. I spent a semester in Italy and fell in love with a beautiful Italian man. It was completely unrequited. He's a darling man though and I got to see him and his wife and two kids when we went last year. He's the only person who seems to understand anything I say. I mean, I get half way there and he totally understands what I'm saying.

I am sure things worked out for the best, but it's pretty amazing to have someone like that. Apparently I didn't understand him:)
