Primal Urges
So, in the end, I did mostly everything on my list except make sichuan tofu and fold laundry. A couple things got sort of done or mostly done (clean the house and bind the quilt), but otherwise, damn. My mom made it here just fine and I had a very busy day and now I'm ready to sleep.
A couple notes. 50 Shades of Grey. All these moms I know are reading or are interested in it and they are talking about how exciting it is because it's smutty. I was talking with a woman about it last night and she was saying how it made her sick to read it because it was so bad. I'm not at all interested because it was based on Twilight and I know plenty of good fic to read except The Meat Feast is gone *sob*. I told the babysitting coop that my guilty pleasure is writing fanfic and some of them seemed to know what that meant, but I'm a little dubious. Tonight, I told someone I could rec smutty fanfic that was better than 50 Shades of Grey and she seemed surprised that I knew about it. LOL. She doesn't know I write it sometimes too. Hee hee.
After this week, I have a strong urge to write fanfic with someone swearing a lot. I'll have to hold onto that urge until Tuesday.
I started listening to Intended by new_kate and read by
lunchee . OMG. I love it even though they are not in character. I'm so happy to hear lunchee's wonderful voice again and I'm feeling all kind of flaily feelings about this story. So cute. It kept me company on my way to pick up bird food tonight:)
Tomorrow we get to take birds in to school to show multiple classes and then I'm meeting up with a friend for an hour or so in the afternoon. Who knows what else we might get in to? <3 to everyone. Thank you for making me feel normal.
