Double duty

Life is ok here, just a little topsy turvy. I've got a friend staying with us until he's settled and he has brought his adorable little dog too.  It makes me wish I had a slightly bigger house so I could go somewhere and hide at times.

The real purpose of my post is to ask about cellular shades.  Anyone have experience with these?  What would you recommend?  What should we stay away from?  We definitely want something that has the top down option.
