The state of life

I've been chugging away at the lobster quilt.  I think I will finish it this week.  Wahoo!  The baby was born last week, so I have further motivation to get it done:)

I've been cooking and cleaning and stuff like that.  Oh, and I've been watching movies.  So far the best have been O Brother Where Art Thou and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.  Cold Mountain was excellent, but so painful.  And The Office was just painful.  I have twenty minutes left of Evan Almighty and I'm loving it.  I found it interesting that T Bone Burnett was involved with the music on both O Brother and Cold Mountain.  I think I need some Soggy Bottom Boys music in my house.

I scored a coup at the thrift store.  I got a Hanna Andersson shirt for DD1 for $2.25, roughly.  I was quite happy with my haul today, although I didn't get very many pants today for either girl and I completely forgot about mittens/gloves for DD1.  Oops.  I guess I might have to order from Land's End.  I'll check out the local consignment store first.

Um, not much else going on here.  I discovered this weekend how truly boring my life is and I am so grateful, words can barely express it.

life, movies, stuff
