Busy, and productive weekend.

Thursday night I mowed the lawn and then did the photoshoot for the pauldron. Pictures should be up and in galleries in the next few days. Friday I ran an errand to Menards for a dimmer switch and a few other things in preparation for the weekend. That evening I spent a majority of the time cleaning the garage and filling up the trailer with more things to throw out.  Then I loaded the Pilot with the PK booth for the market, and dug the purple zx6 out of the storage spot.

Saturday was market setup and then back home for breakfast and back out to the garage. I cleaned more out and then hooked the trailer up and finished filling it at the studio. Took everything to the drop off and then returned to the studio to load the zx6 on the trailer using the new wheel chock.  I then went about cutting up the stump my dad acquired for me. One piece will be just a hammer surface and the other will have a pipe flange mounted on top to be an interchangeable tools station. Next on the list was cutting a bunch of 4" sections of 1/2"x1" square tubing to be used as powder samples for the line of tables and wine racks I am working on. By then it was time to go retrieve the booth from the market.  After getting that home and unloaded I hooked the trailer back up and delivered the zx6 to sleepingzebras . Back to the studio to do the stenciling for the Alt.Kilt sizer kilts. Finished off the evening with some socializing and back home to crash.

Sunday I got up later than planned and was off to help devianttouch move some things.  Then it was back for a bite of breakfast and preparing to attack the attic to install a new light over the dining table in the kitchen.  Luckily it was easy to re-wire the current 3-way setup for the old kitchen lights and make a new branch for the new light and use the wall wiring from the old switch. Several hours, a stop for lunch, and a trip to the hardware store for 2 longer $0.30 screws and the new light was up and operational. After cleaning up the mess I made by cutting a hole in the ceiling I went over to the studio to help techdragon  with more prep work. Turned a cow into fabric shapes and barged up the hem, tooled a compass rose for the leather kilt, which still needs to be trimmed to the round and painted/dyed. Then a bit of unwinding at home with a beer and some cheese.

Today I need to stop at Menards and get some ant-killer and spread that after dinner. Then there is more Alt.Kilt stenciling, work on the tooled compass rose and other things to do for the rest of the evening.
