Still Busy
So, been a bit busy for the last few weeks. Most of it has been a good busy, not just a stress busy so that helps. I'll have a good use for my new trailer soon as well, only have the sheet-stock for 2 more shields. Tonight I have 3 shields to deliver, after taking pictures of them. So I should be able to get some better content up on the GreyCat Armory site. Oh, and I figured out a name for the shield making part of Katana Design Studio.
I need to produce content for both of the sites, but I have been a bit busy making to get around to writing. Need to fix that for a little bit. Next week I'm traveling again for work, maybe I'll have time to write copy and work on business plans in the hotel.
Managed to relax a bit this weekend instead of working through it, that got pushed to Sunday and Monday nights ^_^. Went down to Chicago after dinner on Friday to help/hang out with altkilt at CapriCon. Monday night I finished up the shield for fencert, start to finish, I think I will need to raise my prices quite a bit once I see how these hold up in combat. 7 hours start to finish, granted it is a rather complicated design and it turned out great.
Last night I spent some time at the studio working on my personal armor. Still have much more to do, but at least I have my new gauntlet assembled and padded for practice tonight (only took 2 weeks to get around to it).
With much help from drakenfly I should have an actual logo worked out soon, rather than the clip art I found for the current placeholder.
I also need to switch and do some work on booth lighting for pkstudios before that gets to be too much of a rush deadline for her show.
