The last month has been busy, imagine that. Couple days of travel for work in there too. Been working on my new ventures and trying to get things off of the lists. Websites are up, and not completely lacking content at the moment, so here they are.
Katana Design Studio for most everything, and
GreyCat Armory (logo by
drakenfly) for the shields and other SCA centric things. I even have business cards now.
For the last week most of my non-day-job work has been doing more web consulting which has been going well, the business should be be able to pay me back some for the other start-up costs and tools. I have managed to make some time for watching some movies on DVR (Bourne) and DVD (Up), and even made it to the theater last weekend (Alice), so it hasn't just been non-stop work. I managed to spend some time out in the nice weather on Sunday swapping out the marker lights on the trailer for LED based ones.
I've also been making time for more working out and trying to keep up with it. So far it is going well. If I find myself sitting at the computer at home for no real reason I go do something else, stretching/sit-ups/push-ups/weights/jump-rope/pell drills, something. Haven't been as good about the getting up to do them before breakfast, need to work on that. Hopefully the exercise and the re-focusing on food in the house will help with my conditioning, and the last bit of weight that I have been plateaued at for a while now.
Tonight I will hopefully be installing some of the e-track in the new trailer before heading out to the Great Big Sea concert. Then my evenings/weekends go back to the web work and booth enhancements for
pkstudios. Both of which should be done sooner rather than later, so I can move on to some cool collaborative GreyCat/Alt.Kilt Steamshop stuff. Then I can also practice with some of the new and new-to-me tools that I have picked up over the last month, and new ideas I have for the businesses.
