I'm really not enjoying One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl being on the same night. Because I either am left feeling very satisfied or entirely pissed off.
I really think it's time to leave Tree Hill though, once and for all.
So Gossip Girl up first. I literally cut out of work early so I could get home in time. I'm ridiculous, I know this. But I have no shame.
In any case, the Waldsen eye!sex and other assorted Bleighton being oh-so-gay was fantastic. Like seriously Blake, she really isn't a piece of chocolate cheesecake dripped in raspberry sauce. Stop looking at her like she's the tastiest thing in the world.
Actually, check that.
Go right ahead Blake, ogle away.
Seriously, Blake especially looked ready to jump Leighton all episode long. Would this have been right around the time Penn and Blake were reportedly fighting on set? Cause that would track a bit. And be totally amusing.
I give it half a season before we hear about the inevitable Penn/Blake breakup. Then the real juicy rumors are gonna start. Should be fun in the meantime, watching Blake trying to keep her hands to herself.
As for the actual Dan/Serena suckfest, well I'm trying desperately to erase it from my short term memory. Traumatizing yo.
Moving on to One Tree Hill......
Actually, can I just skip that? Cause it was THAT bad. I mean Marky is obviously going to shove Leyton so far down our throats that no one else is going to matter to Peyton. The only saving grace of the entire episode was Hilarie and Sophia's chemistry that seems to wrangle it's way around the horrible writing. The head in the lap hair stroking was great. Until Peyton was a complete dumbass and didn't figure things out with Brooke. I mean come on! Lucas' just has her so spun that she can't read her best friend? I'm starting to see where some of the Peyton hate comes from now. And I could never hate Peyton because of my Hilarie fangirlishness, but I kinda get it just the same. Blah
So OTH, you may just be dead to me pretty soon you keep this total shit up.
