Conglomeration 2019
It's been a number of years since I attended Conglomeration. It's a small, all volunteer run con which is becoming more rare in this day and age. For the last couple of years they didn't really have anything that would be a big draw for me but this year they brought in legendary Star Wars author Timothy Zahn. It's nice that he does big cons like Star Wars Celebration or Dragon Con but still has time to visit small cons. Several of the local fans and I attended (we even gave him a gift basket)and the con kept him very busy with Star Wars and Author panels. We were able to see into his mind and that of his most famous Star Wars creation "Thrawn". We were able to get so much face time with him, much more than if we would have tried to meet him at a bigger con. If Conglomeration keeps bringing in guests of this caliber then I'll be attending for many more years.
