Pretty Camera is Pretty.

I has a pretty new camera!  'Tis all shiny and gorgeous and RED!  How awesome is that?  It's a Nikon Coolpix, and it has a 3" screen, which is fucking HUGE, and OHMYGODILOVEITSOMUCH.

And the best part?  It was 40% off.  That's right.  I just bought a camera for less than $70. -insert awe here-

In other news, it's rainy today.  Which sucks, 'cause it' ( Read more... )

Hello!! I know you have no idea who I am, but I couldn't let this pass without a response.

Nathan is a jerk and an ass. I have no issue admitting that. My problem with believing his character portrayal in Dual (let's not even talk about how they've twisted his character this way and that throughout the entire season so far) was his casual attitude regarding everything. Too relaxed when dealing with Knox (I know he was trying to lull him into complacency , but it still felt a little....off) and especially his "just something to finish on today's list before I save the world' aborted ass-kicking of Peter. If he were that angry that he wanted to hurt Peter badly (and the raising of the pole just before the fire looked like a serious hit was coming), there would have been some heat, some rage, some something in his face. Instead he just made it look like an inconvenient chore to be done. And with the way he was confused about the fire (c'mon - Nathan may be an ass but he's not a stupid ass) and the remark at the end (that still kills me ( ... )

You've made a lot of good points. The calmness really did freak me out, I will admit.

I guess the only way we'll really be able to find out is 'Fugitives'.

A friend of mine realized a little something within Dual that I think would work out just fine.

When Nathan was knocked out by Peter, and then was awoken by the GI guy... Arthur was gone.

At the same time, before Peter's powers were taken away from him, he came into contact with his future self, who could move people inside other bodies. Arthur then took away all of Peter's powers.

So, I think that if the writers are actually going to be true to the characters, then perhaps Arthur was able to survive the bullet (the Haitian was losing control on him if u remember), and thus move inside Nathan's body. Thus, this is not Nathan truly speaking to Peter and then later on talking to President Worf.

But after Volume 3 I'm not sure if the writers are even clever enough for something like that. And if that's the case, I hope that at least Adrian and Milo are pissed about the paths their characters have taken.

Hmm, interesting theory - so interesting that I had to check it out myself - and you're right, he is gone when Nameless!Marine wakes Nathan up, but if you look really hard, you can see a streak of blood in the direction of the door, which I think means we're to assume that the Marine took care of Arthur's body before he woke up Nathan.

But hey - you never know. They've done crazy stuff like that before.

Cool. I thought I would be the only one believing that Nathan isn't Nathan. :)
Glad to hear that there are more. The question is, if Arthur is Nathan ( which I believe more and more ), where is Nathan then?
( I mean - they can't kill him, can they? )

I dunno. If it's true, Arthur could put him pretty much anywhere he wanted. I don't think he'd kill Nathan, though. He was the son he liked.
