Pretty Camera is Pretty.

I has a pretty new camera!  'Tis all shiny and gorgeous and RED!  How awesome is that?  It's a Nikon Coolpix, and it has a 3" screen, which is fucking HUGE, and OHMYGODILOVEITSOMUCH.

And the best part?  It was 40% off.  That's right.  I just bought a camera for less than $70. -insert awe here-

In other news, it's rainy today.  Which sucks, 'cause it' ( Read more... )

Hello!! I know you have no idea who I am, but I couldn't let this pass without a response.

Nathan is a jerk and an ass. I have no issue admitting that. My problem with believing his character portrayal in Dual (let's not even talk about how they've twisted his character this way and that throughout the entire season so far) was his casual attitude regarding everything. Too relaxed when dealing with Knox (I know he was trying to lull him into complacency , but it still felt a little....off) and especially his "just something to finish on today's list before I save the world' aborted ass-kicking of Peter. If he were that angry that he wanted to hurt Peter badly (and the raising of the pole just before the fire looked like a serious hit was coming), there would have been some heat, some rage, some something in his face. Instead he just made it look like an inconvenient chore to be done. And with the way he was confused about the fire (c'mon - Nathan may be an ass but he's not a stupid ass) and the remark at the end (that still kills me to hear!), I have to keep my feet firmly planted in the river of Denial. That was Not Nathan. At least not the Nathan I have come to know and love over 2.5 seasons. And if it was, that was some the worst writing for a character that I have ever seen. I could totally get on board with Nathan going to the dark side; what I've always liked best about him, well at least in season 1, was that you never knew what he was going to do. But if that really is Nathan, the writers made it all happen way too fast for me to be able to buy into it.
I'm hoping that Fugitives either proves me right or gives me some reason to believe in his evil ways. Because for now, I just ain't buying it.
But hey - as long as this gets him more screen time, I won't be complaining too much anyway!

You've made a lot of good points. The calmness really did freak me out, I will admit.

I guess the only way we'll really be able to find out is 'Fugitives'.
