So another round of this meme:

RULES: Comment and I'll LJ stalk you to find THREE FANDOMS you apparently love. And then you answer these questions about them!

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

awhisperoflight gave me Harry Potter, The Big Bang Theory, and SJA

Harry Potter

1. Shortly before PoA my mom got us the first couple books, after that I read them all as soon as they came out. I think I started getting a little more fandomy about it after GoF, but it was what I thought of as blatant Harry/Hermione shipping in OotP that really grabbed me and pulled me into fandom.

2. I think my heart will always be a little broken over this series because I got so invested in it only to have the last couple books destroy everything I liked. So the little flame of bitterness keeps going, but I've pretty much moved on (aside from keeping my Harry/Hermione icon just to use on people, and express the fact that I don't have to be a canon shipping person).

3. Books 3 as a whole, the last few chapters of book 4 for writing, and book 5 for characterization (so sue me, I got CAPSLOCK HARRY, plus lots of Harry/Hermione subtext)

4. I kind of skirted the edges of HP fandom, I've got a couple unfinished fics, a couple vid ideas I haven't done yet (and maybe I should), and the rare but occasional discussion. These days, when it comes up I'm about as likely to reply to things as not, usually in the "the last couple books kind of suck" sense.

5. I wouldn't recommend this *fandom* to anyone really. I might rec the books to someone if I really thought they'd enjoy them, although I doubt I'd be able to muster up much enthusiasm to infect others with.

The Big Bang Theory

1. I started watching it after season 1 ended, I guess I must have been hearing good things about it somewhere but I can't remember where. In any case I marathoned season 1 and really liked it, now I don't like the waiting thing between episodes.

2. It's not something I'm hugely attached to, so I'll probably, unless something changes, move on. But hopefully the show will run for years and it won't be any time soon.

3. It all sort of blends together, and even if it didn't I can't remember any of the episode titles.

4. I post about it occasionally, at least as far as episode reaction posts go, but besides that not really. There's nothing I'm really invested enough in to write or vid about it.

5. Probably, I have no idea how big fandom is for this show, but I suspect it could use more people, also the show is pretty good.

The Sarah Jane Adventures

1. It was a Doctor Who spin off, simple as that. I was actually pretty skeptical about it going in since it had the whole kids' show thing going on, but it ended up being absolutely adorable and I love it.

2. I'm not real deep in this fandom to begin with. But I plan to keep watching it in the coming season, unlike the parent show.

3. You know, it's been long enough since I watched it that I'm not positive. It's all sort of a haze of cute.

4. I am actually very inactive in this fandom, I don't even talk about it much. I keep meaning to find a reason to vid it, but it's never high on my priority list.

5. Yes, I think Doctor Who fandom tends to focus on the parent show (for obvious reasons) and Torchwood (which I do like, I just don't think is as well done as SJA) and this little show slips through the cracks.
