Yesterday…
My brain exploded.
Ok so not literally.
I had to get wingmirror fixed on my car and had to leave it there half an hour, so I nipped over to the pharmacy and my card was declined, so I rang the bank.
They deactivated the card because they'd sent me a new type of card, but they hadn't told me when the new type was taking over and I hadn't had chance to activate the new card. Phoned my dad as I was then stuck as my car needed fuel to get home.
Was fuming, saying imagine if I'd gone to petrol station 1st, I'd have been stuck with no way to pay. Dad just shut down and passed me onto my sister.
I then had a blazing row with my sister over the phone with her saying the bank could do whatever they wanted and it was my fault. Dad eventually said he'd bring card down to where I was so I could activate the card.
So I went back to the garage and they had the wrong wing mirror, so now I have to take a day off next week and loose pay to get it fitted. So then I waited and dad got to. Me and gave me card and said look I just can't cope with this right now and I said and I can?! And he just turned round and went.
So I managed to stop crying enough to see straight and went to get some fuel. Bought ten smokes as well but managed not to smoke them. Then drove round for an hour and a half on dual carriageway and motorway trying to calm down.
Then felt crap for shouting at dad and sis so went to garden centre and bought them both a plant, to say sorry. Then arrived back at home on the doorstep soaked by rain, crying and carrying two plants…
So yeah, not quite brain explosion, but almost.
