baby you can drive my car
I started driving school today. It was quite an experience being behind the wheel. I didn't think that driving would be a multi-tasking thing, which I SUCK at. There was a moment when I got too busy looking at the speedometer since I was trying to stay within the speed limit and then my instructor turned the wheel and I realized that the idiot me totally forgot about the effing road!
So how was my driving? Well, aside from that idiot moment I had, my instructor told me that for a first time driver with no experience, I was pretty good. Well, I've always observed my dad and sister whenever they drive and I always enjoyed playing Gran Turismo on PS2 and on arcades, so I'm not exactly a dumbass when it comes to driving. I just don't particularly enjoy it. Heh.
Of course, even with the good review, I still am not a good driver. I make bad, wide turns. And throughout the 2-hour drive, I was overtaken by many cars because I was drove too slow. When I don't see a speed limit sign I go at 30 (mph) and I'm trying to avoid an accident so I can't exactly go road kill. I did go at 50 though and of course got a "Go slow" from the instructor.
I'm driving again tomorrow. Gah. I'm too lazy for this shiznit.
