This Is Getting Absurd
On top of everything else, the phone line is screwed. I was talking to a friend last night and got the absolute worst static you've ever heard. He called me back and we didn't know if it was his or ours. A short time later Carla phoned my cell phone because the house line was busy (which is impressive when no one is using it). I turned it on and there was no dial tone, only static. I unplugged it all, and upon reconnecting it the dial tone was there and the static was not. However, if anyone tried calling our house it would ring once on the caller's end and then disconnect. The phone never rang at our end. I phoned Bell about it and they're sending a technician out TOMORROW NIGHT. Since last night we've not had any dial tone at all.
In the past week I've just about had it with Bell, and am running out of things that can go wrong. I think for my days off next week I might crawl in a hole.
