Reading to children
So about a month ago. the word was sent out in my library for volunteers to read stories to children. I asked for more information, and apparently they took that as a request to read, so they put me on the list. Ok, fine, but they didn't tell me the books that I'm reading until today. Well, I finally got them, and I must say, I can't really object. I'm reading
"My monster momma loves me so" and
"Donny the terrible monster"
I wanted to read a ghost story or two, but they nixed that idea. Well, monsters are pretty close, right?
To be honest, I'm looking forward to this. I like children, and reading to them should be a blast. I just hope I can keep the little bugger's interest for 5 minutes. Here's hoping...
