ROAD TRIP!!!  Finally I got to get off the farm for a few days!!! WHOOOOOOOOOT!!!  I went with Amber, Darren, and Swathi to visit Susan in The Valley.  Actually it's in McAllen, TX about 6 miles from the Mexico border . . . but in reality, we were as good as already in Mexico.  We even had to cross the border patrol to get out of The Valley!!!

My camera finally came back from the shop so I was able to take some more pictures.  It's so hot outside I try to take them at night, so they are a little blurry sometimes.  Enjoy!

Frosty kidded around 3:30pm this Thursday while I was in class.  Gale (beautiful baby girl) is named for the incredible thunderstorms during her first day of life, and her personality . . . tempestuous =P.  2 hours after her birth she still was not nursing . . . I was proud of myself that I got up for breakfast before most other people did. I'm doing that thing that I did in college where I feel guilty if I sleep too long (aka. as long as I need to) =P So I woke up around 7:15am and got ready by 7:30am when most other people were ready to eat by 7:45am =D! Today I woke up at 7:30am (decadence, lol) and got dressed for breakfast and devotions. I had some coffee and cereal while we read from a book about spiritual issues. Today's issues were on whether different religions have greater or lesser value that Christianity. It was very interesting because the author claimed that to believe in no religion ( Read more... )

So my first day "on the job" is Labor Day . . . also my first day off. o_O I don't know how I feel about that.
