I was reading an Oblate manual and ran across this today quoting the Manual for Benedictine Oblates:

Tonight was the ultimate litmus test. Could I stand before the Liturgy Committee and not crack like a nut. I took one hour out of my day to plan a 10-15 minute presentation about the Liturgy of the Hours. Today I wrote my name on a piece of paper at St Martins Abbey. . The paper put my name on the rolecall as a Novice to become a Benedictine Oblate. I have a year at the minimum to begin to learn how to incorporate the Rule of St Benedict into my life ( Read more... )
