I was ready to do the O Antiphons in the chapel as per Father's request and my petitioning of the liturgy committee. When disheveled_one presented this week's church bulletin on Monday with the listing of the activities for Advent I nearly fell through the floor. Yes, there it was in black and... beige--Vespers in the church and NOT the chapel. I rubbed my temples, prayed for guidance and refrained from shouting, "Captain Liturgy STRIKES again!" so as to avoid any appearance of animosity between myself and V.

I am trying to look upon this as a blessing. Perhaps she felt that, with the announcement, there might be a need for a larger venue. Or maybe she's just dotty...

*rubs temples*
