Update
got new issue of Gay Times - it had reviews of Fanny + Stella (about two men arrested for cross-dressing/homosexuality in Victorian England and the ensuing scandal) and Bedsit Disco Queen. Also Sharon Needles (drag queen winner of RuPaul's Drag Race - Series 5 I think) has done an album called Dark Magic. And speaking of drag queens, they also had a list of notable drag queens on Twitter and a tiny little mention for Divine whose response to the audience was - Well, if you paid too much, you can fuck me after the show.
And they had an interview w/Leslie Jordan off Will + Grace.
Times last week had an interview w/David Tennant plus a feature on the best ever Oscar winning films (I hate to say it but I find the Oscars a bit 'political' if that makes sense and I don't always think the best film of the year wins but then I suppose it is all subjective). They also mentioned the notorious Louis Malle film, Pretty Baby, was being shown on Sky Movies Classic - it features Brooke Shields as a child prostitute in a New Orleans brothel in the early 1900s - I'm surprised they would risk showing it.
Saw the last episode of Black Mirror (Jason Flemyng of Primeval was in a couple of scenes) - it was OK but I preferred the 1st two. Also Ripper Street ended (tho' apparently it's already been commissioned for a 2nd series) - I actually ended up quite liking it.
My brother has gone home (via London then flying out tomorrow) - he's been here this week to visit my mum and help me sort out some stuff to do with that. We managed to get a fair bit done but not as much as I would have liked. But it will be Easter in another few weeks.
