Lisa Costello and I are off to Seattle today to attend this evening's Clarion West party. We also will have dinner with a friend, and breakfast tomorrow with another friend, then we're back to the beach house.

After Lisa Costello finishes her workday, we are lighting out for the Washington coast, to stay with my parents at their beach house on the Long Beach peninsula. This year, I have been on what I'm privately calling my 'farewell tour'. Given my life expectancy and declining health, this is not unreasonable. Even if I live much more than another year, I do not expect to be in adequate shape to travel past about the end of this summer. If I am wrong, well, it shall be delightful to have a 'reunion tour'.
