In Oamaru, we had a pretty nifty day. First off was Whitestone Cheese. Where we, um, ate cheese. Then toured a cheese making facility. Then, um, bought cheese. Because cheese. And the brie there was amazing, the best I've ever had. Very high butterfat, it seems. And they have an award-winning bleu that is to die for.

So yesterday we had cheese. I opted for a wide range of samplers rather than concentrating on more quantity of a fewer selections. In truth, I probably went overboard. This spread fed twenty people for about $450, with a fair amount left over.
