I want BADLY to watch the complete Music Station that had them, Orange Range and Yamapi all at the same time! My bias!! If Laruku and/or Gackt and/or Otsuka Ai had been there it woulda been waaay to much, but my favorite show EVER!
OK, so this past few weeks have been... full of activity. Between my mom's birthday and an aunt dying and work going on full force and myself spending waaaaaay too much money in cds and concert tickets XD
Yeah, my mom's b-day was at the end of july, and she was planning a nice day spend with her friends, but sadly, a half-sister of her finally died after four years fighting against lung cancer, so we had to canceled everything and go to her funeral.
I've mentioned this before, but as a reminder, let me tell you, I'm not a family oriented person when it comes to people that are technically family, but I don't consider them to be so. I barely knew my half aunt, my mom didn't get along very well with that part of the family, luckily, so we didn't had to deal with them much, so going to this funeral, that was really nice and all, she had a lot of people that cared about her, was a very weird experience. It doesn't help at all that we don't know shit about what you're suppose to do in a catholic funeral. I've only been in a handful of them over the years, only one of them important to me directly, when Claudia died, but that time I didn't even went inside the church, I just waited outside until they took her to the cemetery.
Hell, it going to be seven years since she died next month. Fuck.
Anyway, my mom ended up celebrating her birthday a week later (last weekend). It went OK, her friends came and a lot of people got drunk, very appropriated. I wasn't in the best of moods that day, though. I was tired as hell because I had stayed at a party until 6.30 in the morning the night before, celebrating the anniversary of the company I work for. It was a lot of fun, and I was smart enough to not get drunk... even though I drank five pisco sour, but, really, I didn't get drunk! It was good pisco, I guess. A lot of people got VERY drunk, though, and I had a weird moment with a coworker... not my fault! You can't listen to Black Eyed Peas' My Humps and NOT get overly friendly with whomever you're dancing with! Still, we're both acting like nothing happened and I'm completely fine with that. He's probably too drunk to remember anyway.
Because my mom had work to do, we waited until she finished so I could take her out to drink, just the two of us. In the end we went to watch The Inception and then for drinks, last friday. We had a great time! The movie was a lot of fun, and I think I'll try and watch it again, something I haven't done in YEARS, go and see a movie twice! And yeah, I'm definitely buying the DVD when it comes out! It's incredibly the amount of fics that are out there already for this movie. I ended up loving Arthur, and Arthur's interaction with Cobb, and Ariadne, and Eames, of course! I hope the fandom grows into something nice and worth to be a part of. I definitely want to see a comic version of the movie, it can be nicely done.
Like Supernatural's anime version that's about to come out! How cool is that?
And yesterday I saw the sneak peek pages for the new part of Young Avengers that comes out next month! Damn, Magneto is one hot grandpa! Glad to know Billy and Tommy have those genes in them!
The other day I bought a ticket to the Rammstein concert that's gonna be in november. I'm excited about that!! I'm very tempted to go to the Maquinaria Festival as well, because I have a big soft spot for Link Park... but it's too expensive! Even if Incubus and The Pixes and a lot of other bands are gonna be there as well... way too expensive!
I had to buy security boots the other day. Tomorrow I'm going on a work trip again, to a mine area in the north, so I was given a quick security briefing and lots of security stuff. A helmet, protective glasses, a shinny best so I don't get lost in the dark XD Lets see how it goes.
I also have to deliver a paper tomorrow, regarding my thesis. I'm not gonna be here tomorrow to deliver it, so I don't know what to do. I'll have to ask someone to do it for me... I have to write the damn paper first as well, I have to do that today. Such a bother...
I've been buying a lot of NEWS and Digimon stuff in the internet. I also bought the third and fourth album of Suju, and I'm planning on buying some of the cd dramas I've managed to find of Weiss Kreuz, my old obsession... but hey, so far, my money has only been spent in food and buying stuff for other people. I should spend some money on my favorite crap too, right? YEAH!
OK, that's it for now, have to go and prepare to go out and have lunch with the family...
