GAH!!
ive been maintaining my calm! actually its more pure excitement! its finally my turn to have MY pops concert!!! YAY!! good god, i will miss this concert in college, for SURE. its sooo much fun. especially when its dedicated to us seniors. heh.
ive been running around singing like crazy trying to get my voice really lubed up. haha. or just warmed up. anyways. it kinda sucks cuz you sit in one place for a long time then u get up and sing. well u warmed up like an hour ago..so..but at least i will be able to sing for a little while b4 my solo! woot! SO excited! to see everyone's performances..ALL the surprises..senior slide show! its so much fun! and today went really well in rehearsal. i sang my lil solo the best, and our choir sounded good and we had a lot of fun w/ our song! like i was literally standing there singing w/ this huge grin on my face and i just wanted to laugh out loud b/c i was so happy and i was having so much fun. like everyone around me was so into the music we were singing, we were all hammin it up, judy was feelin the beat, it was just awesome. its official, i LOVE singing jazz. if only i had the amazing techniques some of those crazies have. the whole trilly thing. dont even know whats it called. i can do it, but it doesnt sound awesome. and my vibrato isnt very well developed. ive got that clear straight tone.
anyways, enough of that. im really excited. and im leaving in an hour. and ive got a lot of stufff to do in preparation and random chores (thanks pop)! WOW here we go.
AND IM FUCKING DONE W/ SCHOOL!!! i mean at least academically!!!!! today was my LAST final and im done. i cant even fathom it. the freedom hasnt quite hit me. OMG.
