Last weekend was fun. Friday night I arranged to meet up with dr_whitelabcoat, snootylj and Jonah in the Turf Tavern. When I got there I unexpectedly also ran into Craig and Stephen, neither of whom I have seen in months. Beer was drunk and catching up was done. Thursday I went off to Leeds, getting up early to do so. One nice thing about an early train journey at this time of year is you get to watch the sun come up. Well got back from Suffolk late last night and I am off up to Leeds for work for the day in a short while. But it's a 4 day week and a nice long weekend to look forward to as well, so things are good :). OK after jellybearwhore posted a link to the Trebuchet at Warwick Castle I now want to get out and go see some sights. Would anyone else be up for the occasional day trip over the next few months? Well last week saw me getting up at 4:30AM each day and traveling either to Leeds or Malvern and back again. A long week and I was quite tired after it all, however I was in need of a pint so after a brief rest stop once I got back to Notts I met up with dr_whitelabcoat and snootylj in the Trip. Well been a long week what with traveling to Malvern and Leeds most days, but tomorrow I get a day off due to flexi leave :). Feeling nice and relaxed now and looking forward to the weekend. Well work continues to have major stress levels although right now it is mainly due to the fact that I have to try and fill out a form that justifies a promotion for me. Frankly I hardly ever see the point of those forms. I personally believe that if the bosses haven't been paying attention enough to justify a promotion for a member of their staff ( Read more... )
