For those who are living in Japan under a student visa (and if you're currently attending ICU that would help a lot), what are the troubles behind getting the 資格外活動許可申請 aka The Activities Outside of Status Permit?
Will the schools assist you in getting this?
and
What jobs can you get under the shikaku gai katsudo kyoka shinsei ? Eikaiwa positions?
Reason I'm asking is that my family is finacially pushed to the limit and they can only do but so much in getting me into ICU and I would half to support myself in some manner (if I am accepted) so this is why I am asking.
I hope it is okay to ask this question and if there's any other LJ communities out there for foriegn students at Japanese universities I'd like to know about them!
