current project: whew, finally got all the machines moved. ixion, auron, ixions terabyte, and the GDB (heh, yet another machine that surrounds me. a loud one at that) all had to be moved to the secondary machine room. read below for explaination.
the people at the chinese resturant are starting to recognise me. on of the guys is even starting to suggest dishes Id prolly like. its kinda cool.
now, as for machine relocartion. there are 2 (read it, 'two'. in this case, 'too' might also be appropriate aswell) other interns getting moved into my office. for "political reasons". why is political reason so illogical? anyway. its a very small office. getting three chair in there alone is gonna be a squeeze. if two of us dont get along, this is going to go from "political reason" strait past "political unrest" onto "political division" until it comes to rest somewhere in the vicinity of "civil war". but HA. I have an escape. (although I fear my esc key on my board may be staying behind T_T). to make room for the new people all the linux comps had to go. so theyve been moved here, to the secondary machine room (where all the dead/obsolete servers spend their last days connected to the network and eventually end their sad, pathetic, outdated lives). but, heres the catch, Im working alot on two of the moved machines, so instead of having to stick around in an over crouded office, I get to work in the machine room where I have more space, an actual door, more computers, more parts, lots of dead comps (I call salvage rights!), and aiiiiir conditioning. I have aiiir conditioning. much happy. Ive alos set up all 6 machines in here to a single kvm switch with two ouput moniters, so now I have 6 machines viewed on 2 moniters and controlled by a songle keyboard and mouse. Im diggin this. I feel powerful. I also have a building floor plan. Ill post it with my personal comments some other time after I get to scan it.
and for the record, the original Vampire Hunter D was nothing compared to Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust. It made up for it a little bit with excessive nudity, but it still wasnt that good. and the english dub could really use some work. if not in what was actually said then at least in the voice acting, that sqeaky little voice pissed me off.
I have to mess with a laptop and wipe its drives now, laterness.
